Garrett Cottrell

My name is Garrett Cottrell, I am a student in the 11th grade. Ever since the 5th grade I began having all of these different stories flow through my mind. They allowed me to escape the boredom of school. Despite this I never thought I would be able to write a story growing up due to being diagnosed with dyslexia. This changed in the 9th grade when I decided to write one of these stories down. To say the least it was an abomination looking back on it but at the moment I was proud of it. More proud than any other accomplishment in my entire life. Since that time I have continued to practice my writing skills and evolving my stories until today. In Fact this story is a variation of the first story I ever wrote, though it is very different of course. I hope this story can take you out of this world just like it does for me.
